About Us

Our Story

Faithful Ambassadors Bible Baptist Academy, a ministry of Bible Baptist Church, began in August 1996 due to a burden God laid upon the heart of Pastor Larry Obero. Pastor Obero brought the vision before the church as an alternative to the humanistic-based philosophy taught in public schools throughout our state and nation. The Lord brought Brother Abelardo and Sister Delia Herrera to Bible Baptist Church to help Pastor Obero fulfill this vision. The school opened on August 1, 1996, with a total enrollment of 60 students in grades K5 through 12th grade. Today the school has over 150 Alumni, with some currently attending various universities, community colleges, and Bible Colleges, while others serve in the military, ministries, medical field, and law. “Ambassadors” was chosen as the representative symbol of Faithful Ambassadors Bible Baptist Academy because it represents the heart of the school according to Proverbs 13:17. The Ambassador is prevalent in Scripture, and many biblical principles may be learned from his example. The Ambassador has had a tremendous reputation throughout the history of mankind. It is a befitting image as Faithful Ambassadors Bible Baptist Academy trains students to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives.

Our Purpose

The purpose of Faithful Ambassadors Bible Baptist Academy is to educate the student spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially. Students are taught to establish and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. By integrating Scripture into their educational program, we seek for them to develop godly character and the academic skills necessary to accomplish God's unique purpose for their lives.

Our Objective

The objective in building a private Christian school is to obey the Scriptural imperatives of Deuteronomy 6:5-7a, “…love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children….”
And of Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go….” Teaching is training. Life training must include training for eternity.
A Christian school is an extension of the Christian home in training young people in a Christian environment for time and eternity.
